HOHOE, PEKI & SURROUNDING AREAS
Volta Region is among the least explored regions when it comes to investment in Ghana. With ample land, green vegetation, mineral deposits and more, many of the areas in the region, including Hohoe municipality and South Dayi district, offer a vast array of investment opportunities.
Agriculture and related trades are the leading commercial activities in the Volta Region. The region however has untapped resources including iron ore in the Hohoe municipality - Akpafu to be precise.
It is anticipated that the completion of the Eastern Corridor, which is expected to facilitate economic cooperation between Ghana and neighboring countries, will result in the rise of commercial activities in the areas along that stretch. Hohoe and Peki are among major towns located along the Eastern corridor.
