Education in the Hohoe Municipality and Peki environs start from preschool to tertiary institutions.

Hohoe municipality is estimated to have 160 kindergartens, 116 junior high schools and 12 senior high schools as of 2012. The municipality also boasts of four higher institutions: two colleges of education, a health and science university, and a midwifery training institute.
The South Dayi District is estimated to have more than 100 schools at the primary, junior and senior high levels. Thirty-seven of these schools are public primary. The district has 28 public junior high schools, including 25 private basic schools. It has three senior high schools and two higher institutions, including a college of education and an Evangelical Presbyterian University.
