The Hohoe Municipality & South Dayi District have law enforcement units at district and township levels. Hohoe has a municipal Police unit & South Dayi has the Peki District Police.

CRIME RATES
Crime rates in Hohoe and Peki are low, compared to areas with similar profiles across Ghana. Criminal activities, however, have been on the increase as the areas become more urbanized. The community is generally peaceful and welcoming all the same.
